I am back...

But then I did not go anywhere in the first place. I was right here at home. I was not doing too much worth mentioning and hence this long silence.

Anyway I feel good to be back in this space.

Here are a few of my paintings/sketches/drawings that I did over the last few weeks.

Pencil Sketch - the Lions mane has been created using a simple rubber. After  pencil shading, I used a rubber to create the effect seen.

Water Colors - I made this painting on my own. Initially I painted without the mountains and when I showed it to my master he told me to add the mountains and its reflections.

 I did the above painting in my amma's office sitting in her conference room while I was getting bored and waiting for amma to finish work. I must also thank the tea uncle in her office who cleared the mess that I had created on the table while doing this painting.

Water Colors - the house on the left was done by my drawing master and I tired to redraw the one on the right.

The one below is an activity done by my sister. It has been created out of clay. I liked the color combination on this heart. She did this for our achan.

Hello and welcome to my 2013 drawings, painting and other stuff.

Its been a while since I have done anything. With my winter vacation and my achan not being around me for a long time, there was nothing much that I could do. During the winter break and I was extremely busy and really did not have time to draw or paint. At the end of the day I was really tired because of my busy schedules and that too did not allow me to do much.

So here are the first (and hopefully many more) of drawings from this year.

A Little Princess

My little sister is into fashion, accessories etc etc. Everything that a girl truly likes. Pink is one of her most favourite colours. Every sketch that she does will have this colour some where. 

I managed to take a photograph of one of sketches that she did quiet recently. She always had a complaint that it always were about my drawings, my paintings, etc and never hers.

So this time I decide that I would post her drawing also in my blog space. Everything that she has done on this drawing is from her own imagination.

If you look carefully, the image is all about details. See the image below and you will understand what I am saying.

I did this painting a few weeks ago. Achan was not at home to post this and hence the delay.

I used water colours to do this one. Amma found the original painting posted on FB. And I created a version that I liked. Cannot say a copy - more like an inspiration would be the word I would use!

Cows

This is another drawing using pastel crayons. My drawing master, Saji sir, gave me one of the pictures he had drawn as reference. I just tried to copy it as close as possible.

November 2012

My first attempt at creating a portrait of a person. I know its not perfect and can be made better. I used pastel crayons to create this.

A boy

Another landscape created using pastel crayons again. This time I used the colour of the paper to create the effect of the clouds. This is another first for me as well!
